Our cosy farm cottage on Quadra Island is rustic yet charming and is fully equipped for your vacation rental.  The barn type loft, accessible by a sturdy ladder is a hit with both young and old.  There are twin beds which can be put together to make a king size  if preferred.  The loft windows embrace the pastoral view in the daytime and the amazing nightly performance of moon shadows and  a galaxy of stars.

The farm cottage at Bold Point is idyllic, overlooking the gardens, pastures and Sitka Spruce forest.  It is comfortable with all the modern amenities: bathroom - toilet, shower, complete kitchen with propane stove, on-demand hot water!  The combination dining and sitting area is flooded with early morning sunshine.  On the deck is a double burner BBQ.  Evening time is enjoyed on the large L shaped deck, amidst Hummingbirds flitting amongst the gardens.  Children and parents enjoy playing tag, or other games - barefoot on the big lawn.

The lower bedrooms include a double futon, a writing desk and comfortable reading chairs. If the futon is not in use, this room provides further seating.  A small single bedroom is also downstairs. There are lots of puzzles and board games for both young and old for those few rainy days.

The cottage sleeps 5 adults / children comfortably.

The loft is accessible by a sturdy ladder - proofed for 15 years by active children! Beds are either two twins, or when put togethe,r a king sized bed.  A child gate is atop the loft steps.

The lower rooms include a double futon, writing desk and comfortable reading chairs. A single bedroom is also downstairs. The cottage is heated by a woodstove.

Day rate:  $190. / sleeping 5.  Extra person: $25

High Season - 2 nights minimum   (July 1 - September 30)

Weekly rate - 7 nights: $1130

Dogs / cats: pets in the cottage $10 per day / pet.

Dogs must be under control by leash or verbal commands at all times, as the chickens and sheep are free ranging! In case of farm animal injury, guests will be charged market value for replacement of the animal.

Other: canoe, kayak transfer to lake or ocean $30 return

Farmstay Slow Food, Organic Meals Available

Cottage guests are given the opportunity to have a cooking free holiday.  Slow Food meals can be arranged to be enjoyed with us and others in the Main House. Another option is to have meals prepared then left in the refrigerator for your private enjoyment.

Cost for Meals Babies 1-5: $10; Children 4-11 half adult price

            Breakfast:         $12 - $15 per person.

            Picnic Lunch:    $8 - $12 per person

            Dinner:             $30 per person or by arrangement

Guests can arrange fopr extra meals. West Coast style cooking, with dashes of European influences are prepared from our naturally raised meats, organic fruits and vegetables or wild, fresh sea foods. We produce, collect and process 75% of our food.
