Bold Point - Farmstay - Bed and Breakfast in a wilderness setting

"The gardens at Bold Point Farm are stunning and inspirational as they provide food for the soul and the table. Just wonderful! "Valerie, Victoria, B.C.

"The garden is a feast for the senses", smell  the herbs and flowers, taste  the fruits and vegetables,  watch hummingbirds and swallow tail butterflies and listen to the bumble bees.  It's paradise!!!  Sam, Eugene, ORE

If the kitchen is the hub of a house, then the gardens at Bold Point Farm are the center of this beautiful property. The gardens are surrounded by towering fir trees, sunny pastures and a magnificent rocky bluff. We have numerous raised vegetable beds, fruit trees, berry bushes, flower beds and a charming herb and medicinal garden.

The Farm House and the cottage are actually placed in the fully fenced garden.  You open the door and you are in the garden.  A year round stream which is fed by our own spring runs through the garden and out into the pastures to reach the ocean a few hundred feet away.  You will find funky wooden benches and  Muscoca chairs placed in sunny and shady areas for your rest and relaxation.  The hammock which swings between the wisteria arbor and the cherry tree is a favorite place to read that summer novel.

The herb garden which overlooks the whole property is a favorite place for people to sit in the shade of a pink horse chestnut tree and enjoy lemon balm tea with borage flowers on crushed ice.

The spring garden beckons with hundreds of daffodils, crocus and tulips.  Whereas the summer garden is glorious with dahlias and bumper vegetable crops. We welcome those who wish to help-out in the gardens and we are only too happy share our surplus.
